We work closely with our clients all over Australia and the world through email, phone and virtual appointments. We provide whatever we can to collaborate together to co-create a special piece for you.
All of our engagement ring are crafted to order, especially for you. Our production timeframes will vary depending on the nature of the service in crafting your piece.
Once a design has been confirmed and, our Signature Process will have a production timeframe of 8 -11 weeks. If you’re creating your ring using our Bespoke Service, the production will take a total of 6-9 weeks. This manufacturing process does not include shipping timeframes and is subject to change.

Ready To Wear
All of our Ready To Wear pieces are ready-made and will be dispatched in 1 to 3 business days.
All pieces in our Wedding Band collections are crafted to order, and will require an average of 6-8 weeks for production. This manufacturing process does not include shipping timeframes and is subject to change. As a recommendation, we advise allowing plenty of time prior to your wedding to order your wedding bands, to ensure a smooth, stress-free production and delivery.
Designs from our Signature Engagement collection either follow the Signature Process or Bespoke Process.
With our Signature Process, we take the time to listen to you, then search the globe for stones that meet your specific criteria and budget. We present you with a selection of tailored options for your consideration and selection.
The Bespoke Process, using the Bespoke Ring Builder, take the guess work out of the process, and allows our clients to select their own diamond from our specially sourced on-hand inventory. Our passionate diamond specialists are meticulous about the quality of each individual diamond we source, and providing the highest levels of service to all couples with any budget. Each diamond in our Bespoke Ring Builder inventory can viewed in person at our Sunshine Coast showroom.
Quality and integrity are of the utmost importance to LOUISE JEAN. All LOUISE JEAN engagement rings and wedding bands come with a limited lifetime warranty from the date of completion.
Our limited lifetime warranty covers your ring/s under normal wear. If the ring is noticeably bent, damaged, or shows sign of improper care upon inspection, we will repair the ring at a cost.
If a manufacturing issue is found, LOUISE JEAN will repair the damage without charge and cover the relevant shipping charges.
As a part of our servicing warranty, we offer a complimentary stone tightening and polish (to an undamaged ring) on all of our engagement and wedding rings. We recommend an annual check-up to ensure your pieces are in good condition. If you require assistance related to damage, please contact our customer consultants team here. We will advise the recommended steps and requirements for a repair and will always assist with any repair that is required.
Lost, damaged, or chipped diamonds and stones are not covered under our warranty. For the very unlikely event of your focal stone falling out or becoming damaged, personal insurance is highly advised.
Please note, our warranty is void if you take your piece to another jeweller for resizing or repair work. We do not take responsibility for work done by other jewellers. This includes repairs and resizing.
We always recommend the purchase of an independent insurance for your LOUISE JEAN ring. This will cover anything outside of our warranty and protect you for accidents or circumstances out of your control. More information on insurance can be found here.
At this point in time, we do not offer custom wedding band services.
On a case-by-case basis, we can alter specific designs from our Wedding Band collection, including band customisations (profile and width), diamond/stone size and diamond/stone preference. Please get in touch via our Enquiry Form to talk to a customer consultant.
We do not work with client sourced stones.
We accept heirloom diamonds and precious gemstones on a case-by-case basis; however we will first ensure it is suitable for a new design. The minimum spend for an engagement piece with your supplied stone is $4,000. We do not work with stones under 0.50ct.
We are unable to repurpose or recycle your existing metal as our metal is refined by our trusted Australian gold suppliers.
LOUISE JEAN offers complimentary lifetime cleaning and servicing. As part of this service, your ring will be given a thorough inspection, clean, polish, and tightening of stones (if required). If your ring is crafted in white gold, it will require re-plating in Rhodium.
To ensure your warranty is valid, you must have this completed every 12 months.

All LOUISE JEAN Fine Jewellery collection pieces come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. In addition to this LOUISE JEAN offers a voluntary manufacturer’s warranty.
In order to register your LOUISE JEAN voluntary warranty, you may be required to provide personal information about yourself (such as identification or contact details), including address, email or contact number. LOUISE JEAN guarantees that your personal information will never be disclosed or used for any other purpose unless authorised, including email marketing.
In accordance with the terms of this warranty, LOUISE JEAN offers a warranty against manufacturing defects in our products for a period of six months from the date of purchase.
This warranty covers all manufacturing faults, and does not cover damages, wear and tear, oxidisation and broken chains.
Lost, damaged, or chipped diamonds, stones or pearls are not covered under our warranty.
Based on an assessment by our jewellers, where a manufacturing defect is identified during this period, LOUISE JEAN will offer a repair (where possible) or replacement. If a direct replacement is not available, a replacement item of equivalent value will be offered.
LOUISE JEAN reserves the right to request proof of purchase for all warranty claims.

We understand you may not get in right the first time. We offer one complimentary resize for all engagement rings for 6 months from the date the ring is received. After this first resize, any additional resizing that is required will be at a cost subject to the metal and design.
Please note there are certain limitations to resizing a ring if a significantly larger or smaller size is required. This is to ensure the integrity and quality of the band. In some cases, there will be small costs to remanufacture a ring that is beyond the resizing limit.
We always do our best to provide assistance and advice in obtaining your partner's size. Please get in touch to talk to our customer consultant for more information.
Wedding Bands do not come with a complimentary resize.

Import duties and taxes may be relevant to international shipments outside of Australia. Once your order arrives to your destination country, you will be liable for all custom fees and taxes that may be incurred to release the parcel.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email confirmation outlining your order details and tracking information.
All Louise Jean pieces are made to order, with the exception of Ready-to-Wear and select Fine Jewellery collection designs. Please refer to our guide here for approximate production or processing timeframes applicable for collection specific pieces.
Transparency and sustainability are very important to LOUISE JEAN.
Our diamonds and gemstones are sourced through a select and trusted network of local and international stone partners, who guarantee their compliance with the United Nations resolutions and align with our focus on ethical sourcing and practices. All diamonds supplied by LOUISE JEAN include a formal grading certification (GIA/IGI/GSL/GCAL) for center diamonds over 0.6ct. Accent/melee diamonds may not include grading certification.
We package all of our pieces in LOUISE JEAN personalised boxes with important care information and details about your item. We use plain outer boxes for delivery to avoid drawing attention to the package when shipping or receiving the piece.
We are passionate about sustainability and keeping our carbon footprint low, so in some cases, when more than one item is ordered, we will package multiple pieces in one shipping box. Our packaging is made from recycled origins where possible and is recyclable (excluding ring boxes and suede pouches).
