As part of our partnership, LOUISE JEAN pledge 1% of each wedding ring purchase to Girls First Fund.
These funds are filtered through Girls First Fund's sister organisation VOW For Girls before being dispersed to the various educational and community organisations Girls First Fund supports.
In 2023 Girls First Fund invested millions of dollars across six countries including Uganda, India and the Democratic Republic Of Congo.
Sparking meaningful change, 87% of grantees reported changing attitudes in gender norms, while 78% reported changing behaviours in girls. Importantly, 68% of grantee partners reported success in shifting girl's attitudes and beliefs in regards to their ability to say no to marriage or advocate for their dreams.
Finally 85% of grantee partners have reported specific instances of child marriage having been prevented or annulled because of their work.
