We are predominantly an online business, and very well equipped with excellent digital resources to work with clients who cannot visit us in person.
Our expert consultants can provide you with detailed imagery and videos, stone comparisons, and printable guides to narrow down your decisions. To select your stones, we use our Bespoke Ring builder and detailed Online Diamond Inventory, or 360-degree video presentations of diamond options.Â
For our Signature Service clients, we may utilise CAD technology to preview your design before it begins production.Â
Once your ring is in progress, we will update you regularly with emails as your ring progresses, and send you professional imagery of the finished product once complete.
We offer consultations via Zoom for clients wishing to discuss both Engagement and Wedding rings.Â
You can learn more about these and request a time here.

Your parcel is covered under our insurance during transit from Louise Jean up until the parcel is delivered.Â
You will receive a notification with the shipment tracking details as soon as your parcel has been dispatched from our studio.
We strongly recommend that you also have personal insurance organised prior to the delivery of your piece, as this will be necessary from the time it it signed for or delivered.
We offer one complimentary resize on our engagement rings within the first six months from the date that your order was originally dispatched.
For all other pieces or if you require a resize outside of this timeframe, we are happy to assist with resizing and will provide you with a quote for any fees.
Arranging to send your ring back to us is at your discretion, and all shipping fees are your responsibility. Louise Jean can assist with this process.
If you would prefer not to part with your ring or send it back to Australia, you may choose to have your ring resized by a highly trusted local jeweller. Do keep in mind that we can’t be responsible for the work of other jewellers, and this will void your warranty.
For more details about your Limited Lifetime Warranty, see here.
As a part of the warranty on our pieces we include a complimentary annual service & clean for your ring.
However, particularly for our international clients we understand that there will be logistical implications and shipping costs involved, and you may be concerned about parting with your ring for an extended time. In this instance we recommend seeking out a jeweller that is local and trusted - and don’t worry, servicing & cleaning doesn’t affect your warranty (only instances where there are structural changes made to your ring will this void our warranty).
Accidents happen, and we are always happy to assist with any repairs or replacements. You will need to arrange to send your ring back to our expert jewellers in Australia - reach out to your customer consultant for assistance to organise this.
All shipping costs are your responsibility, but we will assist with any of the paperwork necessary to ensure you’re not required to pay customs fees as your parcel is a Return for Repair.
We recommend DHL Express for international parcels - while a little pricier, they are efficient and secure and provide excellent customer service.
For more information on Repairs & Returns, see here.
All LOUISE JEANÂ Fine Jewellery collection pieces come with a six-month warranty from the date of completion. This warranty covers all manufacturing faults, and does not cover damages, wear and tear, oxidisation and broken chains.Â
Lost, damaged, or chipped diamonds and stones are not covered under our this warranty.
Please see our Ring Size Guide for detailed information and recommended steps to find your size. Alternatively, you can order a complimentary Ring Sizer here.
We understand you may not get in right the first time. We offer one complimentary resize for all engagement rings for 6 months from the date the ring is received. After this first resize, any additional resizing that is required will be at a cost subject to the metal and design.
Please note there are certain limitations to resizing a ring if a significantly larger or smaller size is required. This is to ensure the integrity and quality of the band. In some cases, there will be small costs to remanufacture a ring that is beyond the resizing limit.
We always do our best to provide assistance and advice in obtaining your partner's size. Please get in touch to talk to our customer consultant for more information.
Wedding Bands do not come with a complimentary resize.

Transparency and sustainability are very important to LOUISE JEAN.
Our diamonds and gemstones are sourced through a select and trusted network of local and international stone partners, who guarantee their compliance with the United Nations resolutions and align with our focus on ethical sourcing and practices. All diamonds supplied by LOUISE JEAN include a formal grading certification (GIA/IGI/GSL/GCAL) for diamonds over 0.6ct.
We package all of our pieces in LOUISE JEAN personalised boxes with important care information and details about your item. We use plain outer boxes for delivery to avoid drawing attention to the package when shipping or receiving the piece.
We are passionate about sustainability and keeping our carbon footprint low, so in some cases, when more than one item is ordered, we will package multiple pieces in one shipping box. Our packaging is made from recycled origins where possible and is recyclable (excluding ring boxes and suede pouches).
