There’s something deeply special about the women who shape us. The ones who raise us, support us, inspire us, and stand beside us through every season of life.

For Mother’s Day this year, we wanted to celebrate the duality of motherhood, both its beauty and its chaos, and the many forms it can take. The tenderness, the movement, the noise, the emotion, the quiet moments in between.

Rather than casting external talent, we invited the women behind LOUISE JEAN to step in front of the camera alongside the people who mean the most to them. Little ones who made them mothers, their own mothers and grandmothers, lifelong maternal figures, and the relationships that continue to shape them.

The day unfolded naturally amongst laughter, conversations, cuddles, and moments of beautiful chaos. Babies wandered in and out of frame, arms were constantly full, and every image captured a kind of warmth that simply can’t be staged.

At the heart of LOUISE JEAN has always been sentimentality and storytelling. Jewellery becomes part of life’s most meaningful moments, gifted, inherited, worn daily, and held onto for years to come. Having our own team and their loved ones at the centre of this story made it feel all the more personal.

Bracelet Length

Chain bracelet sizing is based on total length (circumference).

To measure your wrist, use a flexible tape or string to find the length that fits comfortably, but isn’t too loose. Our chain bracelets have adjustable lengths.

Tennis bracelets fit at one length, designed to be flexible and allow movement. Worn slightly lower on the wrist, they may relax and stretch over time. If you're between sizes, consider sizing down.

Bangle Size

Bangle sizes refer to the internal diameter, including both length and width for oval-shaped bangles. Our bangles do not have hinges.

When selecting a size consider the fit both over your hand and when on your wrist. To determine your size, tuck your thumb in and measure the widest point of your hand across the knuckles.

Oval bangles sit closer to the wrist, while round bangles will have more movement. Bangles cannot be resized.

Length

The necklace length depends on personal style, and sizing varies for each person.Our chains begin from 40cm, which typically rests at the base of the neck or just above the collarbone.

Finer chains will more closely follow the contours of your décolletage, while heavier chains or pendants will hang straighter and longer.
